Warner Bros. has just released the first official trailer for Wonder Woman starring Israeli actress Gal Gadot. The two-minute, thirty-second trailer is full of action scenes, revealing some of the plot and characters in the film including Major Steve Trevor, General Antiope, and Queen Hippolyta.
The DC Comics character Wonder Woman, recently voted the “Most Powerful Superhero” by Entertainment Weekly, has had many faces since her debut in 1941. Most recently, DC Comics introduced Gal Gadot as WW in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
We first got a look at the new Wonder Woman on The CW back in January, and an extended teaser of the upcoming movie in the trailer shown at San Diego Comic-Con.
Wonder Woman was directed by Patty Jenkins and also stars Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright. The film opens to theaters, including RealD 3D and IMAX 3D cinemas, on June 2, 2017.
