Sling TV joins other streaming services such as Netflix with a dedicated channel for children called Sling Kids. The on-demand channel is part of the Kids Extra add-on pack (unfortunately not part of the base package), that costs an extra $5 per month for Sling Orange and Sling Blue customers. Content on Sling Kids is organized into age categories and comes from Kabillion, Kaboom and Splash networks.
The service has also added TheBlaze. The digital TV network provides news and opinions, family programming, and comedies within the News Extra add-on pack that costs an additional $5 per month for customers with the Sling Orange or Sling Blue packages.
And, Cheddar has been added to the Sling TV lineup with live streaming news about innovative products, technology, and services from New York City. The channel is only available on Sling TV, and free for customers with either Sling Orange or Sling Blue base packages.
