Want to follow your favorite NBA team this season? Dish Network is the first pay-TV to offer a subscription to watch all out-of-market games from a single NBA team. Called “NBA Team Pass,” the just-launched service costs $119 per season compared to $199 for the full NBA League Pass.
The single team pass is available to all Dish customers who can choose from one of the league’s 30 teams for live access to every game that’s broadcast out-of-market. That should amount to 41 games considering home/away matches are split evenly across the 82-game season.
NBA League Pass, on the other hand, offers up to 40 out-of-market games every week during the regular season. Of course, some games are subject to local blackout depending on location.
“Now an NBA fan on the East Coast who wants to follow just their favorite West Coast team can opt for NBA TEAM PASS,” said Josh Clark, VP of Programming for Dish Network.
The satellite TV provider is currently offering a free one-week trial of NBA League Pass for all Dish customers.
