If you loved the Underworld series so far you’ll be happy to know a new title in the franchise will be releasing on January 6th, 2017. In Underworld: Blood Wars, Kate Beckinsale returns as the Death Dealer Selene who hunts her archenemies the Lycans, but also faces the Vampire faction that turned against her.
Theo James and Charles Dance return to Underworld to play the characters David and Thomas, respectively, with new cast members Lara Pulver (Edge of Tomorrow), Tobias Menzies (Outlander, Game of Thrones), and James Faulkner (Bridget Jones’s Diary). Outlander series director Anna Foerster heads up the film that was written by Cory Goodman.
The two-minute international trailer from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is available to stream in 720p HD or 1080p Full HD if bandwidth allows. So far, the YouTube upload from Sony has had close to 80,000 views since uploading; nowhere near as many as views as The Shallows (2016) released four months ago now with over 15 million views, or Don’t Breathe (2016) with close to 13 million views.
