The movie features an all-star cast including Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot from the upcoming Marvel film Wonder Woman. Price: $19.99
Universal Studio’s breakout film Hardcore Henry (2016) has been released to Blu-ray in a 1-disc edition that comes with a Digital HD copy from iTunes or UltraViolet. The edition also includes deleted scenes, fan chat, and feature commentaries from director/producer/writer Ilya Naishuller. Price: $19.99
Our Blu-ray pick of the week is The New World (2005) from director Terrence Malick. Criterion Collection has taken on distribution of The New World and released a 3-disc edition with three cuts of the film including a new 4k restoration of the 172-minute extended cut. Colin Farrell, Qorianka Kilcher, and Christian Bale star in The New World that was inspired by early colonization of Jamestown, Virginia and the historical figures Captain John Smith and Pocahontas. The film is highly praised for its filming and soundtrack, nominated for an Oscar “Best Achievement in Cinematography.” Price: $32.99
