Lionsgate’s Point Break has been released to Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand, and Digital formats including 4k UHD from Vudu. In Digital UHD the film costs $9.99 to rent and $29.99 to purchase from Vudu, and features enhanced video and audio formats with Dolby Vision and Dolby Digital Plus.
Point Break (2015) is a remake of the action thriller Point Break (1991) that starred Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. The new film follows the same plot as the original, in which a young FBI agent infiltrates a team of extreme athletes involved in a crime ring.
On Blu-ray, Point Break (2015) averages about $22.99 (BD) and $27.99 (BD 3D) and the DVD $14.99. The Digital version of Point Break averages $14.99 (HD/SD).
Vudu appears to be the only place to get Point Break in Digital 4k. Competing video services from Amazon, Apple, Google and others aren’t offering UHD titles yet, although Sony has a limited library of 4k titles that are exclusive to Sony Bravia 4k TVs.
