Three new Insignia-brand Roku TV models popped up on BestBuy.com that support 4k Ultra HD content. The models are the first from Insignia and Roku to support 4k, with support for 3840 x 2160 (4K) video resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, quad-core processor, and 802.11ac dual-band WiFi.
The new Roku TVs don’t support 3D or HDR (High Dynamic Range) content, but are reasonably priced for a Smart Ultra HD TV. The 43” (43DR710NA17) is listed at $399, the 50” (50DR710NA17) at $499, and 55” (NS-55DR710NA17) at $649.99.
The Roku TV comes loaded with smart software to get you up-and-running with 4k right away — no external 4k player needed — with at least ten app channels to view 4k content including Amazon Video, Netflix, PLEX, YouTube, and UltraFlix.
Other specifications include 4 HDMI ports, 178-degree viewing angles, and support for DTS TruSurround with two full-range 10W front speakers.
The new 4k Insignia Roku TVs can’t be found at Best Buy stores yet, but are expected to be on display starting early next month.
