The Amazon Original “Mozart in the Jungle” has been renewed for third season, promising Prime members another ten expected episodes of the 30-minute show that won two Golden Globe awards.
4k TV owners also have something to look forward to when the season restarts (production to begin later this year), as “Mozart in the Jungle” streams in up to 4k resolution for Ultra HD TVs. The show also features HDR (High Dynamic Range) meta data, that’s compatible with select Samsung and LG smart TVs.
“Mozart in the Jungle” in Ultra HD can be enjoyed on 2nd-generation Amazon Fire TV devices, supporting Samsung, LG and Sony smart TVs, and in High Dynamic Range (HDR) on compatible Samsung and LG smart TVs.
Prime members can also download episodes free-of-charge for viewing later on iOS, Android, and Fire devices.
The show stars Gael García Bernal (Golden Globe – Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Series) as New York Symphony conductor Rodrigo, Lola Kirke as the young oboeist Haily, and Saffron Burrows as musical protégée Cynthia.
“Mozart in the Jungle bursts with creativity and passion, and offers audiences something truly unique,” said Joe Lewis, Head of Half Hour Series, Amazon Studios.
