Now Trending: Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Trailer

In case you weren’t watching the halftime show during Monday Night Football last evening, here’s the official full trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. The new trailer has already tallied 13 million views on YouTube alone since publishing on October 19th, and, apparently crashed ticket servers — namely Fandango — with fans hoping to buy tickets for the opening as well as upcoming Star Wars film marathons. See the full trailer below that runs about two minutes, with another 30 seconds of promotional information. Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens opens to theaters in the US on December 18, 2015. Just for kicks, we also posted the original two-minute Star Wars trailer from 1977. It’s been almost 40 years since George Lucas changed film history with his epic space adventure, but great stories, no matter what technological advancements, can still make great films.
