PlayStation 3 and 4 owners can now access two new channels on PlayStation Vue. The first, EPIX Hits, is the premium movie channel that’s currently showing movies such as Interstellar, Transformers: Age of Extinction and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (premiering on 10/23). The channel is available as an add-on in select markets to the Access and Core packages for $3.99 per month ($2.99 for PlayStation Plus members). Nationwide, the channel is available as a premium pack with SHOWTIME for $13.99 per month ($11.49 for PlayStation Plus members).
PlayStation Vue is offering a promotion for EPIX Hits in which subscribers to the premium pack (EPIX Hits and SHOWTIME) in 2015 can get the two networks for $11.49 per month (or $9.99 for PS Plus members).
The second new channel, Machinima, brings daily entertainment shows and gaming programming, as well as curated content from the Machinima network to PlayStation Vue. The channel is included in the Vue Elite package ($69.99 per month), or available as a standalone service for $3.99 per month ($1.99 a month for PS Plus members). This is the first premium TV channel offered from Machinima.
