Samsung has announced wide availability of their new, lower priced 4k SUHD TV models in 50-inch, 55-inch, and 60-inch class sizes. The JS7000 line of 4k televisions are priced considerably lower than Samsung’s premium line of SUHD TVs, and start at $1,299 for the 50″ model.
The three sizes in the JS7000 series all feature a new Quad-Core Smart TV platform, support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) content, screen mirroring technology, and 120CMR (Effective) refresh rate.
Other features include UHD upscaling, Contrast Enhancer, UHD Dimming, Ultra Clear Panel, and Smart View 2.0.
In addition, the 4k TVs feature Samsung’s proprietary Nano-Crystal technology for brighter, more vivid images, a technology the company has invested over five years of research and development into.
The Samsung JS7000 SUHD 4k TVs are priced at $1,299 (50-inch), $1,599 (55-inch), and $2,099 (60-inch).
“The JS7000 SUHD TV will allow more people than ever before to enjoy breathtaking picture quality from Samsung’s best TV ever,” said Bill Lee, Vice President of TV Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America.
