The 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Finals will start on Wednesday, June 3 at 8 p.m. ET from Amalie Arena in Florida. The Tampa Bay Lightning, with a 50-24 record, will host the Chicago Blackhawks with a 48-28 record for the season.
In Game 7 of the 2015 Western Conference Finals, Chicago Blackhawk’s Center Jonathan Toews scored two goals in the first period to give his team a lead that would last throughout the game. The Blackhawks ended up scoring 5 goals to the Anaheim Ducks’ 3 goals.
The Stanley Cup appearance will be the third time for the Blackhawks in six seasons, who won the cup in 2010 and 2013. The Lightning won the Stanley Cup in a seven game series against the Calgary Flames in 2004.
In the US, the first two Stanley Cup Finals will be broadcast on NBC, followed by two consecutive nights on NBCSN. The final three games of the seven-game series, if necessary, will go back to NBC. On Canadian television, CBC and TVA Sports will broadcast all games.
The games can also be watched over the internet via the NHL apps for Android and iOS devices, or on PCs.
