Sling TV just launched its over-the-top live streaming service with no contract packages starting at $20 per month. Soon, the service will also offer an Epix package option, with access to over 2,000 movies and entertainment titles live and on-demand.
Sling TV hasn’t announced pricing for the Epix add-on, but the package should include sister channels Epix2, Epix3 and Epix Drive-In along with the flagship Epix channel.
Epix is owned by Studio 3 Partners, a joint venture between Viacom, Paramount, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Lionsgate. The premium network airs popular movies such as “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” Skyfall,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
Upon launch of the Sling TV service earlier this month, Sling also added AMC to the lineup, giving subscribers access to shows such as “Mad Men” and “The Walking Dead.”
Other optional add-on packages include “Sports Extra,” “Kids Extra” and “News & Info Extra,” priced at an additional $5 each per month.
