You may have caught television commercials this past weekend for the release of 22 Jump Street starring Peter Stormare and Channing Tatum. Special features for the film include deleted scenes, commentary, extended scenes, and production featurettes. The Blu-ray edition actually includes 22 more exclusive pieces of content than the DVD, making the combo edition hard to resist. Best Buy and Target have exclusive editions for the film.
Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is now available in a 3-Disc edition from Anchor Bay that includes Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD copy redeemable through UltraViolet. Best Buy, Target and Walmart have also released their own exclusives, including a special Steelbook edition from Best Buy.
And, the blockbuster film of the summer, Guardians of the Galaxy, has been released early to Digital format only. The HD version is selling on average for $19.99, while the SD format is available to pre-order for $14.99. The release date for the film to disc formats is December 9, 2014.
