Access to every out-of-market NFL game on Sundays has just gotten a lot cheaper. DirecTV has lowered the price of NFL Sunday Ticket as the 2014/2015 season enters its ninth week, offering NFL Sunday Ticket Max for 4 payments of $49.99, or NFL Sunday Ticket (traditional television access only) for 4 payments of $39.99.
NFL Sunday Ticket Max can also be purchased in one lump sum of $199.96, while NFL Sunday Ticket can be purchased all at once for $159.96.
NFL Sunday Ticket Max is no doubt the better deal, providing several additional features such as the Red Zone channel, DIRECTV Fantasy Zone, Short Cuts (whole games edited to 30-minutes), and Sunday Ticket access on phones, tablets, PCs, and game consoles.
What both packages share, however, is access to games On Demand, up to 8 games at once in HD on the Mix Channel, Player Tracking (up to 20 players), and real-time stats and scores.
We’ll provide one piece of information for readers that may decide to subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket midway through the season. It’s our experience that no matter what you pay for NFL Sunday Ticket this year, next year you’ll automatically be billed for the entire season. Unless, of course, you cancel the automatic subscription before next year’s season starts.
