The WatchESPN app for Android and iOS devices has been updated to accommodate the newly launched SEC Network, giving subscribers access to SEC Network, SEC Network + and Longhorn Network. The ESPN-owned channel broadcasts college sports played in the Southeastern Conference, including plans to cover 45 football games, 75 baseball games, 160 basketball games (men’s and women’s), as well as other sports and sports programs. The app from ESPN supports both phones and tablets on Android and iOS platforms.
The app for Android requires version 4.0 or higher, while the Apple app requires iOS 7 or later.
All access to the WatchEPSN app is available through most major TV providers, with the exception of DIRECTV who unfortunately does not authenticate the WatchESPN app.
