Following the outcome of last night’s conference game the NHL released the schedule for the 2014 Stanley Cup Final playoffs. The Western Conference finals went deep into the series, as both teams headed into Sunday’s game tied 3-3. The Los Angeles Kings came out on top with a 5-4 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in overtime.
Last Thursday, the New York Rangers clinched the series against the Montréal Canadiens a 1-0 victory, taking home the Eastern Conference title. Rangers center Dominic Moore scored the only goal in the game, completing the series 4-2.
The Stanley Cup Final playoffs will begin this Wednesday, June 4, with the New York Rangers visiting the Kings at Staples Center.
