New Channels on Apple TV

apple-tv-new-channels-w-apple-tv

Apple TV has recently added several new channels to their streaming lineup. Some of the channels you may have already tried out, while others are newer additions you might want to add.

Among the new networks are the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) channel that provides access to highlights and news from the ACC, Big 12, Pac-12 and other conferences. A&E, Lifetime, and History Channel are also now available on Apple TV, as well as the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) channel.

There are a few caveats you show know about before downloading these channels. While most of the channels offer select content free of charge, logging in with a TV service username/password will get you full access to content if you’re subscribed to a particular channel. For instance, History Channel may not be available in some basic cable or satellite TV packages, in which case the customer would have to be subscribed to view all the available content.

A couple other disclaimers. WWE requires a $9.99 per month subscription to access all the content on the channel. And, the Apple TV channels are only available in the U.S.

Here are Apple’s descriptions of each channel with accompanying disclaimer on usage.
