While much of the focus on House of Cards has been on Netflix’s recent streaming of the series in 4k, let’s not forget a Blu-ray Disc edition is headed our way. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release House of Cards: The Complete Second Season to a 4-Disc Blu-ray edition that also includes Digital HD copies of the film. So, if you want to download your favorite episodes to a PC or tablet you can do with the provided UltraViolet license. Subtitled “Volume 2: Chapters 14-26,” the Blu-ray edition contains all 13 episodes from Season 2 of the Netflix original series that premiered on February 14, 2014. The Blu-ray Disc edition will release on June 17, 2014, along with 4-Disc DVD edition (minus the Digital HD copies). House of Cards stars Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey as ruthless congressman Francis Underwood, and Robin Wright as his ambitious wife Claire. The series has been picked up for a third season to start in 2015.
