Comcast adds 18 Live-Streaming Networks to Xfinity TV Go

Comcast has added 18 new live-streaming networks to the Xfinity TV Go app for Android and Apple iOS devices. The new live channels include the popular networks A&E, Bravo, Cooking Channel, DIY Network, E!, Food Network, HGTV, HISTORY, mun2, Oxygen, Sprout, STARZ, Syfy, TBS, TNT, Travel Channel, truTV and USA Network. With the additions, the app now lets subscribers watch over 50 live channels while connected to a Wi-Fi network, in or out of the home.

Using the Xfinity TV Go app, Comcast customers also have the option of streaming over 25,000 On Demand choices, or download movies and TV shows to watch later.

“Everything we do revolves around providing our customers with the very best content wherever and whenever they want it, and the Xfinity TV Go app is just another example of that,” Matt Strauss, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Video Services, Comcast Cable.

The Xfinity TV Go app for Android was updated on Mar. 17 with video performance improvements, bug fixes, and resolves a crash-on-launch issue.

The last update to the iOS version for iPhones and iPads was issued on Jan. 30, 2014 with bug fixes as well as improvements to the live streaming experience.
