It’s no surprise more than half of the Top 10 On Demand movie titles are Oscar-nominated. However, the list is topped by the Lionsgate box office phenomenon The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, followed by Oscar-dominating film Gravity from Warner Bros.
Dallas Buyers Club, Thor: The Dark World and Best Picture winner 12 Years A Slave are all in the top five. And, January releases Captain Phillips and Blue Jasmine are also holding spots in the Top 10.
Rentrak’s just-released Top 10 On Demand movie titles captures pay-per-purchase transactions through cable and telecommunications providers from March 3 through March 9, 2014.
