‘Saving Mr. Banks’ Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital release date

The release date for Saving Mr. Banks on both digital and packaged media is Tuesday, March 18. The Oscar-nominated film starring Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks will release to all platforms including Blu-ray Disc, DVD, Digital Copy, On Demand, and Disney’s own Disney Movies Anywhere service. Bonus features include “The Walt Disney Studios: From Poppins to Present” featurette, “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” tribute song to composer Richard Sherman, and three deleted scenes.

All bonus material will be available on the packaged Blu-ray edition, and most included when purchased via Disney Movies Anywhere. But extra content with the purchase of Digital HD copies may vary according to digital vendor. Disney is currently taking pre-orders on Saving Mr. Banks through retailers that include Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Toys R Us.

Disney Movies Anywhere is a cloud-based digital movie service that offers Disney, Pixar and Marvel movies via web browsers or mobile apps.

Last month, Disney launched the Disney Movies Anywhere app for iPhones, iPad, and iPod touch devices. The app lets users select and purchase from a library of over 400 digital titles.
