Xbox One will support YouTube apps when the console launches tomorrow, and the first native app release is expected to be compatible with Kinect movements, voice commands, and channel subscriptions. This comes as welcome news, as using YouTube through the Xbox 360 web browser isn’t the most enjoyable experience. Engadget has even noted that YouTube Android and iOS apps for mobile devices can be used to send videos to the console, acting as a second screen or remote control, if you will. And, although YouTube seems to be the source for goofy low quality videos, the Xbox One does support 4k video. So, when the Xbox One launches we’ll be interested to see how the app will handle internet-delivered 4k videos on YouTube.
