Sony’s Video Unlimited service is available on the PlayStation 4 today. With the launch of the PS4, the service offers a range of titles from the latest movie blockbusters to TV shows and classics. The streaming service boasts over 200,000 titles, with resolutions available in both Standard Definition and High Definition in 1080p. New releases on Video Unlimited include White House Down, Man of Steel, and We’re the Millers. New movies in HD can be rented typically for $4.99, or purchased from $14.99-$19.99.
“Video Unlimited brings gamers all of the great video content they expect and delivers a totally new and fun experience on PS4,” said Michael Aragon, Vice President and General Manager of Global Digital Video and Music Services at Sony Network Entertainment International.
Using the Video Unlimited app, users can see recently purchased and viewed titles, as well as resume watching unfinished titles.
Sony’s Video Unlimited service is also available on network-enabled BRAVIA TVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Home Theatre systems, Sony Xperia tablets and smartphones, and PCs through Sony’s Media Go application.
