DIRECTV adds ESPN Deportes in HD

Here’s some great news for sports fans who speak Spanish. DirecTV has launched ESPN Deportes in HD, bringing sporting events from around the world in Spanish-language. The channel, first launched on Aug. 26, includes coverage of MLB, NBA, NFL, Caribbean Series winter baseball, Friday Night Fights, The Masters and NASCAR. Tennis coverage includes the Mexican Tennis Open, Wimbledon, French Open, U.S. Open, and the Australian Open.  The channel also focuses on soccer (or, ‘futbol’), broadcasting matches from La Liga, Bundesliga, Mexican First Division, MLS, and Dutch League soccer. ESPN Deportes in HD is available with every Spanish-language base TV package and the En Español add-on package. You can find the channel on DirecTV 432 (SD/HD).
