Starting today, DIRECTV is offering a free preview of the HD EXTRA PACK. The add-on service package includes nine High Definition channels and usually costs an additional $4.99 per month. The channel lineup starts with Hallmark Movie Channel (Ch. 560) and ends with Shorts HD (Ch. 568). The free preview runs May 15 through Wednesday, May 22.
If you’re a DIRECTV subscriber, some popular titles worth checking out include A Few Good Men now playing on HDNet Movies (Ch. 561), The Aviator now playing on Universal HD (Ch. 564), and the “Original Bond Movie Marathon” running through Memorial Weekend on MGM HD (Ch. 562).
Music and concert channel Palladia HD is also part of the HD EXTRA PACK, broadcasting events such as “MTV World Stage: Arcade Fire” and “Live From Daryl’s House” featuring various artists.
