A few days before Seth MacFarlane hosts the 85th Academy Awards, one of the expected contenders for Best Picture will be released on Blu-ray. Warner/Viz Media will deliver Ben Affleck’s Argo to the masses on February 19 (the Oscars are Feb. 24) in a Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet combo pack with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and a host of special features. Argo is based on real events, telling the story of a joint CIA-Canadian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran.
