Cox Communications has added 56 new national cable channels to it’s app for Apple devices, as well as adding support for iPhone and iTouch. The company now offers over 90 channels available to watch on Apple iOS products while connected at home. The free Cox TV Connect app also lets you control your DVR recordings remotely.
Cox first introduced the free Cox TV Connect app last December for Apple iPad, boasting over 400,000 downloads from Apple iTunes since then.
New channels available include Bio, Encore, Fox Business Network, Galavision, G4, Hallmark Movie Channel, Oxygen, Sprout, and Tennis Channel among other others.
Cox customers must have Cox TV Essential or Advanced TV, and have Cox Preferred, Premier or Ultimate Internet service. For a channel lineup in your area, visit Cox’s page.
