‘Peter Pan’ Blu-ray gets February 5 release date

Disney is giving the high def treatment to yet another one of its timeless treasures. Peter Pan will be released on February 5 in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack (Suggested List Price $39.99) and Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack (SRP $44.99). The presentation will include newly restored 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and extra features including the short film Growing up with Nine Old Men, deleted scenes, and a never-before-heard deleted song. Amazon currently has the 3-disc version of Peter Pan available for pre-order at $30.99. Fun factoid: J.M. Barrie’s tale of an ageless boy who can fly first appeared in the 1902 novel The Little White Bird.
