NASA to reveal Mercury polar regions findings


Want to know what studies of planet Mercury’s polar regions have found? NASA will air a live news conference on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 2pm EST from NASA Headquarters in Washington. MESSENGER, the first spacecraft to orbit the planet, has been studying Mercury since it entered orbit on March 18, 2011. Participating in the conference will be Planetary Science Division director Jim Green, along with other MESSENGER scientists. The last discussion of Mercury was held in October, highlighting the first 6-month’s of MESSENGER’s findings. This Thursday’s conference will air on NASA’s website http://www.nasa.gov/ntv as well as through associated TV broadcast networks.
