It’s Spider-Man overload! This week several versions of the new Spider-Man movie — The Amazing Spider-Man — release to Blu-ray Disc. You can purchase the film (and add it to your existing Tobey Maguire collection) in several editions including a 3-disc Blu-ray Combo, 4-disc 3D Blu-ray Combo, Limited Edition 4-disc 3D Blu-ray Combo (with Spider-Man and Lizard figurines), or single disc DVD. All editions, by the way, also include an UltraViolet Digital copy of the film. This Blu-ray releases on Friday, Nov. 9 rather than Tuesday, a home release strategy championed by the ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Twilight Saga’ films. This week we also see the classic 1950 film Sunset Boulevard available for the first time in high-definition. Rashomon (from Criterion Collection), Entourage: The Complete Series, and The Muppet Christmas Carol 20th Anniversary Edition also hit Blu-ray shelves this week.
