What’s new on Blu-ray Disc and UltraViolet this week? James Cameron’s Avatar is finally available on 3D Blu-ray to the masses (previously only available exclusively to Panasonic customers who purchased select 3D TV bundles). The Avatar 3D Combo Pack edition comes with 2D Blu-ray and DVD copies. Mad Men: Season Five also hits shelves on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. Along with all 13 episodes from the season the discs include cast and crew commentaries, several featurettes, and additional extras on three Blu-ray Discs. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted is also available this week and comes in several editions including two-disc and three-disc combos with UltraViolet digital copies. And, Moonrise Kingdom starring Jared Gilman, Bruce Willis and Bill Murray hits shelves on Blu-ray and DVD, as well as UltraViolet to download from the cloud.
