Dish subscribers lost AMC and it’s sister channels IFC Films, Sundance Channel, and WE TV. But have no fear, as AMC is offering Dish subscribers free access to stream the network’s shows at AMC’s website. Dish customers can register at this dedicated ‘Walking Dead’ webpage. AMC provided the same solution for viewers last July, when the season premiere of “Breaking Bad” was inaccessible to Dish customers because the two parties failed to reach a renewal agreement. The dispute left Dish customers without popular shows such as Mad Men and Hell on Wheels. Since then it’s been 3 months, and an agreement still hasn’t been made. What’s interesting about AMC streaming their programming is that the network is letting Dish subscribers register on the honor system, as they have no way of knowing if someone is a Dish customer or not. However, the streaming access will only last for the premiere and fans are encouraged to drop Dish. On AMC’s website, you’ll find messages everywhere to “Switch your TV provider.” Season 3 of The Walking Dead premieres Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9pm (8pm Central).
