Here’s some good news for the few that subscribe to Google Fiber. The company has added NFL Redzone to its available channels, which already included NFL Network. The NFL RedZone costs $40 for the entire season, payable in $10 per month increments. At a base level, Google Fiber’s internet-only 1-gps service costs $70 per month, which includes HD channels at no extra charge. Some of you might not be aware of Google move into the broadband industry. But Google Fiber was launched in Kansas City in March 2011 after being selected from over 1,000 applicants. The Kansas City area actually includes two states, Missouri and Kansas, which share a border. Google Fiber carries about 150 channels, including local channels, and seems to be continually adding more.
