Netflix announced early today expansion of their streaming service to the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, as well as Finland. The service will be offered for one monthly price in those countries before of the end of 2012. Netflix says many titles from the Netflix streaming library will be offered in high-definition (HD) with Dolby Digital Plus surround sound. The service will be available for customers to use on PCs, gaming consoles, and supported TVs, Blu-ray players, phones and tablets. Early this year, Netflix launched it’s streaming service in the UK, where it competes with Amazon’s LOVEFiLM digital movie service.
