Students, Buy a PC and get an Xbox 360

Microsoft is running a promotion for students that lets them get a free Xbox 360 4GB console with the purchase of a qualifying Windows 7-based PC. The offer, which isn’t a first for Microsoft, began May 18 and is running while supplies last. Microsoft listed the Dell XPS 13, HP ENVY15 and Samsung Series 5 ULTRA as qualifying PCs, but you’ll have to visit a retailer to find out what other models will get you the free Xbox. You’ll also need a valid student ID to qualify. In the US, participating retailers include Best Buy, Fry’s Electronics, Dell.com, HPDirect.com, Microsoft Stores and NewEgg.com. In Canada, Best Buy, Dell.ca, Future Shop, Staples and The Source are participating.
