Netflix will begin offering a higher subscription rate to customers who want to have multiple streaming users accessing one account. As it is now, you can only have two devices streaming from one Netflix account at the same time. But it seems more and more families are signing up for Netflix, putting a higher demand on streaming output as more family members want to access Netflix from tablets, smartphones and PCs. The higher demand means a rate hike for accounts needing multiple streams, whichyou can expect sometime later this year. The news comes from a Home Media Magazine report this morning, citing Netflix CFO David Wells speaking at a media conference in Boston. The CFO didn’t offer any information on what multiple subscription plans might cost.
