Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 with 10.1″ widescreen HD display will hit shelves this weekend. The Android-powered tablet (4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich”) boasts a dual-core processor, 16GB hard-drive capacity, front (VGA) and rear (3MP) cameras, and a microSD card slot with capacity up to 32GB. The 10.1″ HD display resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels. Suggested retail price is $399.99. Amazon, Best Buy, WalMart, and Office Depot are among the retailers who will carry the tablet. Samsung is also simultaneously releasing the Galaxy Player 4.2 running on Gingerbread 2.3. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 with 7″ display was released late last month.
