Starting this week [today] Comcast Xfinity customers will be able to view HBO Go on Xbox 360 consoles. That means episodes of Game of Thrones and True Blood can be watched on demand at any time through the app. Customers will need the username and password they use for Xfinity TV on the Xbox, and will of course need to be subscribed to HBO premium channels. Xbox 360 owners will also have to have an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription. The only caveat is the video accessed through HBO Go will count towards Comcast’s 250GB data limit. And man, that HD content can eat up bandwidth. The free app can be installed via the Xbox Marketplace. If you’ve got more questions about Comcast Xfinity and Xbox integration, refer to Comcast’s FAQ page. [UPDATE] The app was made live today, April 9, 2012]
