Paramount has announced a release date for Martin Scorsese’s film HUGO, nominated for 11 Academy Awards this year including Best Picture and Best Director. The film will release on February 28, 2012 to Blu-ray 3D, plain ol’ Blu-ray, and single-disc DVD — all of which contain UltraViolet copies. The Blu-ray editions (available in both a three-disc Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD Combo or two-disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) will contain close to an hour of behind-the-scenes special features, a retrospective on filmmaker Georges Méliès, cast interviews and other bonus materials. And, let’s not forget HUGU will release On Demand and as a Digital Download (but we still like packaged media, don’t we?)
HUGU will retail for $44.99 (Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD combo pack), $39.99 (Blu-ray/DVD combo pack) and $29.99 (DVD). Total runtime of the film HUGU is 2 Hours 6 Minutes.
