It’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights! Well, not yet anyway. How’s March 20 work for you? That’s when Disney/Buena Vista says The Muppets will be released on DVD and Blu-ray. The holiday 2011 hit with Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the gang, will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements including: audio commentary with Jason Segel, James Bobin, and Nicholas Stoller; Scratching The Surface: A Hasty Examination of the Making of The Muppets; A Surprisingly Shallow But Profoundly Absurd Look At Muppets And Humans Working Together To Make Cinematic History; deleted scenes; and much more. The Blu-ray has one exclusive extra: The Longest Blooper Reel Ever Made (in Muppets history). Suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack is $39.99. Apparently Fozzie Bear got his paws into the Disney marketing department, because The Wocka Wocka Value Pack (SRP $49.99) will also be available, including a digital copy and soundtrack download.
