Documentary Channel has announced airing of the best documentaries of 2011 throughout the month of December. Their “Best of DOC” lineup was chosen by Documentary Channel staff and includes a total of 31 worthy films. Academy Award nominated documentary film “Operation Homecoming” will head off the month-long schedule, airing on Thursday, December 1 at (8 p.m. ET/PT). Other titles include “John Lee Hooker: That’s My Story” , (Thursday, Dec. 8), “Full Disclosure” (Friday, Dec. 16), and “Kurt Cobain: About a Son” (Friday, Dec. 23).
