Documentary Channel announces 2011 ‘Best of DOC’ schedule

Documentary Channel has announced airing of the best documentaries of 2011 throughout the month of December. Their “Best of DOC” lineup was chosen by Documentary Channel staff and includes a total of 31 worthy films. Academy Award nominated documentary film “Operation Homecoming” will head off the month-long schedule, airing on Thursday, December 1 at (8 p.m. ET/PT). Other titles include “John Lee Hooker: That’s My Story” , (Thursday, Dec. 8), “Full Disclosure” (Friday, Dec. 16), and “Kurt Cobain: About a Son” (Friday, Dec. 23). Documentary Channel (DOC) is available on Dish Network (Ch. 197) and DirecTV (Ch. 267). See below for the full schedule.
