Things to look for when buying a Blu-ray player: Netflix/Amazon Instant Video support; Internet Connectivity; 24fps (frames per second); and BD-Live (Profile 2.0). You might also consider getting a Blu-ray player with built-in Wi-Fi. (Keep in mind if the player says “Wi-Fi Ready” you’ll need to purchase an additional adapter). Otherwise, if you’ve got a permanent place to hook up an ethernet cable you can save a few bucks and skip the Wi-Fi feature.
