October is finally here! There are eight postseason MLB playoff games scheduled for this weekend. Starting tonight at 5:07 PM ET, the Tampa Bay Rays will face the Texas Rangers to head off the first American League Division games. Following at 8:37 PM ET, the Detroit Tigers will play the New York Yankees. The National League postseason games kick off tomorrow at 2:07 PM with the Arizona Diamondbacks facing the Milwaukee Brewers. Later, at 5:07 PM ET the St. Louis Cardinals will play the Philadelphia Phillies.
Most of the games will be broadcast on TBS with the exception of Saturday’s Tampa Bay vs. Texas game which you’ll find on TNT (according to MLB.com). If you’re watching on an HDTV, make sure to tune in to the HD broadcast of the game and not the standard definition. See below for a breakdown of this weekend’s postseason MLB games.
