Tonight FOX premieres “Terra Nova,” a post-apocalyptic vision of a dying Earth where scientists attempt a re-population by going back in time. The show follows the Shannon family as they join Terra Nova, the first established colony, which will hopefully save the planet. “Terra Nova” stars Stephen Lang (Avatar, Gods and Generals), Jason O’Mara (Resident Evil: Extinction) and Shelley Conn (TRON: Legacy). The show was executive produced by Steven Spielberg among others. FOX will broadcast the two-hour premiere tonight in both standard and high-definition at 8pm Eastern & Pacific/7pm Central.

Guess I’ll be the first to say anthing. The show looks great from the start – great special efffect s and kind of looks like a video game or something — dark, desolate,…so that part was cool. but then it kind of looks like a typical TV show when the get into the family part (The Shannon family) and that was disappointing. In sci-fi, the cinematography and sets are the most important part (too me anyway). So, hoping they keep a good script going along with great effects to make this a series to set the DVR for. Cheers.
Its a good series, but needs time to develop more. viewers need to watch it so it doesn’t get cancelled like other shows that didnt get supprt.
