Boxee launches free app for iPad, adds two features

Your favorite social TV software Boxee has launched an app for Apple’s iPad. And, along with iPad support added two new features for iPad users. The first is the ability to watch videos living on your PC on your iPad via WiFi connection. The second is the ability, if you have a Boxee Box, to view a video from your iPad on a TV. (Boxee says a software solution will be available in an update coming this fall.) Existing Boxee features now supported on iPad include the ability to use a “Watch Later” queue, share videos with friends on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr, and view Boxee’s handpicked featured videos list.
