If you’re a Comcast customer in Houston, you’ll be happy to know the company has added seven HD channels. According to The Houston Chronicle, BBC America (Ch. 730), Big Ten Network (Ch. 707), Galavision (Ch. 650), Nat Geo Wild (Ch. 687), Outdoor Channel (Ch. 708), Oxygen (Ch. 718), and PBS Kids Sprout (Ch. 740), are now part of the high-definition lineup.
But the additions come with a price. At the same time Comcast added the high-def channels they also transferred programming from several HD channels to On Demand access. Those channels include ActionMax, HBO Comedy, 5StarMax, Showtime Extreme, Starz Comedy, Starz Edge, and Starz Kids & Family.
