Panasonic has opened its VIERA cloud-based TV service to IPTV developers who want to create apps for VIERA HDTVs. The apps, of course, will have to meet certain criteria before becoming available on the VIERA Connect platform which just launched last Spring. Features include cloud-based apps (no need to download), seamless screen transitions on full HD TV, and rich multimedia that uses three dimensional graphic technology.
