Sony Pictures’ award winning TV series “Damages” will begin its fourth season on July 13th, 2011. The premiere episode will air on DirecTV’s the Audience Network at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The new series will focus on the controversial practice of hiring private military contractors in Afghanistan.
“The opportunity to be on DIRECTV this season allows us to explore another chapter in the lives of Patty Hewes and Ellen Parsons, and push the envelope in terms of storytelling and content,” said creators/producers KZK (Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler).
Nominated for seven Golden Globe Awards, “Damages” stars Emmy Award winner Glenn Close and Emmy Award Nominee Rose Byrne. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television in association with FX Productions and KZK Productions.
Along with Close and Byrne, the new series will welcome John Goodman and Dylan Baker as regular characters. Other roles will be played by Chris Messina, Judd Hirsch, Fisher Stevens, Griffin Dunn, Julie White, Bailey Chase and Derek Webster.
